LOCATION
Choosing the location between the Bat Galim neighborhood and the Ein Hayam neighborhood, as an ideal area of intervention for the maritime community. The choice was due to the proximity to the sea and the lack of accessibility to culture and marine leisure in the area.

The introduction of the sea through four different focal points, in vacant areas such as open spaces and parking lots to increase the surface area of the water and allow greater interface points of land with the sea. We noticed the road and the train as an obstacle and chose to divert the route in order to allow easy access to the sea.

The creation of urban centers adapted to the needs of the community's subgroups, around the centers of the sea and the introduction of the boardwalk into the project to allow easy access for passers-by. while paying attention to the intersections between pedestrian boulevards, urban centers and the sea.

The introduction of the land into the water was done through the creation of a floating island, in the connection area between the Ein Hayam neighborhood and Bat Galim.

GREEN RECHNOLIGIES
In the center of the island there is a square created by a radial road system that drains into it, where there is a strong linear axis leading from the boulevard and the train towards the square. The walking paths maintain windows to the sea with the cable car station in the center connecting to the city.

We created a beach on the edge of the island, in light of the lack of beaches accessible to the public in the area, we placed hotels on the coastline to encourage the arrival of external visitors.
The boardwalk line continues the coastline and creates a continuous walking line along it from places of residence. The education area includes the school for sea scouts and maritime education, there is a dock nearby for sailing vessels and boats. Between the two education areas there is a community space for gathering.

The market has a commercial floor on the ground floor and residences on the first floor. The market allows the local merchants to base themselves on an economy that depends on produce from the sea. The proximity of the market to the centers of culture and leisure allows it to be active even at night.
